In 2014, KESC of Bakista Karachi Electric Power Company signed a distribution automation project contract to provide fault indicators and data acquisition terminals for its 13 distribution lines, and to install DTU distribution terminals and DMS distribution network management systems in distribution substations.



The implementation of the scheme realizes fast fault location, shortens the outage time and improves the reliability of power supply.
